La Crosse WS-8300U-IT prominently displays the outdoor temperature on its Aluminum trimmed
display, with outdoor humidity, time of day, and indoor temperature also
displayed below. The WS-8300U-IT is a member of La Crosse's IT
product line, with greater range capability and extended low temperature
capabilities. |

| The La
Crosse WS-8300U-IT is finished in aluminum and stands
nearly 6 inches wide and 5 1/2 inches tall and can hang
on a wall, or stand on it's own with it's flip out stand.
The
unit comes with the TX21U-IT remote sensor which has a
range up to 330 feet and operates down to -39.8°F. |

Outdoor temperature is displayed on the
front of the La Crosse WS-8300U-IT in large 1 3/4 inch digits, easily
readable from a distance. Below the outdoor temperature, outdoor
humidity, time, and indoor temperature are displayed in smaller 1/2 inch
digits. By pressing the Min/Max button on the back, the minimum and
maximum temperature and humidity readings reached since the last manual
reset can be displayed. The WS-8300U-IT has two display modes. In 12
hour mode, the time will be displayed in 12 hour format, and the
temperatures will be displayed in °F.
In 24 hour mode, the time will be displayed in 24 hour format, and the
temperatures will be displayed in °C.

|  La Crosse Technology TX21U-IT Wireless Humidity & Temperature SensorThe La Crosse Technology TX21U-IT is a replacement wireless temperature and humidity sensor for the WS-9023U-IT and WS-8300U-IT weather stations. The La Crosse Technology weather instruments that display outdoor temperature or temperature and humidity require wireless remote sensors to sense the weather data and transmit it to the station. All stations include the necessary sensor. Several stations come with one sensor but can receive signals from up to three, or even five, in which case any additional sensors desired must be ordered separately.
