All La Crosse Technology Indoor Outdoor Thermometers
are wireless. They use senders to transmit data from remote
locations. Many of these weather instruments have additional features:
Clock,
or Quartz clock: These accurate, crystal-controlled
clocks need to be set manually.
Radio
Controlled, or "Atomic" clock: La Crosse
Technology Atomic clocks
automatically synchronize themselves to the U.S. Atomic Clock in Colorado.
They do not need to be set manually.
Weather
Forecaster: These units sense trends in barometric
pressure, and display a prediction of likely weather conditions for the
next 12-24 hours.
Barometer
with Bar Graph History: These units show a bar graph of
barometric pressure history, for a graphical display of pressure trends.
Moon
Phase: These units display the phase of the moon, which
can have an effect on tidal conditions.
Sunrise,
Sunset, Moonrise, Moonset: These units display sun and
moon rise and set times.
