Instant Transmission technology. This
unit operates at a frequency of 915 MHz, has greater range, faster
updates, and longer battery life. Data available on the digital
display includes total rainfall since last reset, rainfall during the last
24 hours, and a heavy or light rainfall indicator. |

| The display of the La Crosse WS-9004U-IT
is finished in a
dark gray, and stands about 3 3/4 inches tall. The display
has a built in stand, allowing it to stand on a table, or it may
be hung on a wall. The remote self emptying rain bucket
should be placed outside where rain will not be
blocked. |

The top line of the display on
the La Crosse WS-9004U indicates total rainfall (in inches), from
0.00" to 199.99" total, since the last manual reset, in 1/2
" numbers. The center of the display can display icons
representing light rain (any rainfall in the last 10 minutes), or heavy
rain (greater than 0.2" of rain in the last 10 minutes). Other
possible indicators are alarm set, and low battery indicators for the
remote or the display. The bottom line of the display indicates
rainfall over the last 24 hours, in 3/8" numbers. You
may set a rainfall alarm from 0.05" to 4.0" in 0.05"
increments. If the rainfall during the last 24 hours exceeds your
setting, an alarm will sound. Range
of transmission from the remote to the display is up to 330 feet when
unobstructed. Various building materials will reduce the range,
please see the instruction manual for additional details. Data from
the remote is updated every 6 seconds. For
