Wireless Remote Temperature Sensor

The La Crosse TX25U-IT is an additional or replacement remote sensor with wired probe that is compatible with the La Crosse WS-9029U-IT weather station. The many La Crosse Technology weather and temperature stations that display outdoor temperature require wireless remote sensors to sense the weather data and transmit it to the station. All stations include the necessary sensor. Several stations come with one sensor but can receive signals from up to three, or even five, in which case any additional sensors desired must be ordered separately.

The instructions for your La Crosse Technology weather station specify which wireless remote sensors can be used with that station.

The TX25U-IT Temperature Sensor reports outdoor temperature (or any other location whose temperature you wish to know) to the station. This sensor has an LCD temperature display for viewing at the location where it is installed.

This sensor is wall-mounted, transmits 915 MHz signals and typically operates on two AAA alkaline batteries (not included). Average battery life is approximately one year.

The TX25U-IT is particularly well suited to extended low temperature operation. As the TX25U-IT uses AAA batteries, you may use Lithium AAA cells, which provide superior operation in sub-zero temperature conditions.
