| The La Crosse Technology Professional wireless weather
stations, models WS-2010 and WS-2210, have the same functionality. The
difference is in the physical format of the console. Both weather
stations come
with sensors for indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, barometric
pressure, wind speed and direction, and rainfall. The remote sensors
are wireless and solar powered. They also display barometric
pressure history and weather forecast icons. Accessories are
available to monitor additional locations for temperature and humidity,
including a temperature sender with a probe for monitoring liquids, inside
freezers, etc. A repeater is available to extend the usable
distance, and a P.C. interface is available (which operates independently
of the console) to receive the signals from the senders and make the
data available to software running on a P.C. Additional consoles are
available, as multiple consoles may be used with one set of senders.
The new La Crosse Technology model WS-2510 is coming soon.
It adds a backlit LCD panel, touch screen controls, and a Lux sensor to
measure sun intensity. |

The La Crosse Technology Home Weather Stations WS2010-13 PC interface is for receiving, managing, and storing of all data; generating graphs, charts, and lists; placing data on the PC hard drive; and exporting data for use in other programs. Available third-party software allows for an automatic web page with updates. This unit's software is compatible with Windows (TM) 95 and 98. The WS2010-13 is for use with the WS2010, WS2210, WS2510, and WS7015 wireless weather stations. (battery powered, 2 x AA)
