What can you expect for delivery times in 2005?  Here's the run down:

Unlike most online retailers, we ship from our own inventory.  If our shopping cart page says we have your item, we have your item, ready to ship.  Most online retailers forward your order to a fulfillment center for shipment, and the fulfillment center may be out of that item.

We state at the top of the product page what our shipping cutoff time is.  Last year we shipped every order placed by 3 PM CST, the same day.  I don't know of any other retailer who can make that claim.  If we get too backlogged and have to change the shipping cutoff time, we'll let you know at the top of the page.

How long will it take to get there?  The authority on that is the UPS site, www.ups.com/holiday/ . 

For shipment by Ground:  There are no guarantees on delivery time for shipments "picked up or scheduled to be delivered between Dec. 12 and Dec. 24".  

Three day:  Three day shipping takes 3 weekdays starting the day after UPS picks it up from us.  In other words, if you order Monday morning before our shipping cutoff time, we ship Monday, it should arrive Thursday.  If you order Wednesday evening, we ship Thursday, it should arrive the following Tuesday (it doesn't move on the weekend).  You can order as late as the morning of the 20th and have it by the 23rd.

Second day:   Second day shipping takes 2 weekdays starting the day after UPS picks it up from us.  In other words, if you order Monday morning before our shipping cutoff time, we ship Monday, it should arrive Wednesday.  If you order Wednesday evening, we ship Thursday, it should arrive the following Monday (it doesn't move on the weekend).  You can order as late as the morning of the 21st and have it by the 23rd.

Next day saver:  Next day saver is generally delivered by the end of day the next weekday.  In other words, if you order Monday morning before our shipping cutoff time, we ship Monday, it should arrive Tuesday.  If you order Wednesday evening, we ship Thursday, it should arrive Friday.  There are some areas where this is not available, please see www.ups.com/content/us/en/resources/select/sending/services/next_day_saver.html .  Generally, you can order as late as the morning of the 22nd and have it by the 23rd.
